Guest Posts

To make it easier for third-party companies to contribute to our blog, we've structured our guest post guidelines as follows:

1. Relevant and High-Quality Content

Guest articles must align with the topics covered on webtrafficexchange.com, including Worldwide Web, Digital Marketing, Cybersecurity, Privacy, and other technology-related subjects. Non-technical topics require prior approval before publication.

2. Article Length

The ideal article length is between 500 and 2,000 words. However, we do not impose a strict limit as long as the content provides substantial value to our audience.

3. Original and Legal Content

All submissions must be unique, detailed, and unpublished elsewhere on the web. We do not accept articles that violate copyright laws, infringe on intellectual property rights, invade personal privacy, or harm our reputation in any way.

4. No Promotional or Location-Specific Content

We do not accept articles that primarily promote a specific brand, product, or service. Additionally, we do not accept articles that are limited to a specific geographic location. All guest posts are subject to approval, and we reserve the right to reject or modify the content to meet our editorial standards.

5. Topic Approval

We highly recommend submitting topic ideas for approval before writing your article. This ensures that the topic fits within our niche and does not duplicate existing content on our site.

6. External Links Policy

We allow up to 2 outbound links to websites relevant to the content. Links must be unique and point to distinct target URL. We do not allow links to spammy or low-quality websites, nor do we accept links to industries such as casinos, gambling, essay writing, sports betting, CBD, dating, or adult content.

Outbound links are placed within the article body. Additional links beyond the first 2 will be marked as "nofollow" unless they lead to an authoritative website.

7. Link Restrictions

We do not accept shortened URLs, naked URLs, vanity URLs, or affiliate links. Additionally, anchor texts containing promotional terms like "buy," "hire," "cheap," or location-based keywords like "Texas" or "Sydney" are not permitted. If UTM parameters are used in the URL, the link must be tagged as "sponsored."

8. Link Insertions in Existing Articles

Link insertions in existing articles are generally allowed, but we may disallow it if a new link competes with previously published guest's links. If you wish to insert a link into an existing article, please let us know the target URL and anchor text; and we will let you know whether it is allowed.

9. Author Bio Requirement

For listicles and opinion-based articles (e.g., "Best of", "Top X" lists), an author bio is required. The bio should include a description of the author and a valid email address. Including a profile photo is optional but encouraged to enhance credibility.

10. Link Retention Policy

Outbound links will remain indefinitely unless we determine that the link negatively impacts our search rankings, the destination page has changed, or there is a conflict with an affiliate program we adopt. If we remove a link, we will notify the author.

11. Content Ownership and Modifications

Once an article is published on our website, we retain ownership of the content and reserve the right to modify or update it as needed. Authors may link to their guest posts, but the published content remains under our editorial control.

12. Meta Tags

Please provide a suitable title and meta description along with your article. If not included, we will create them at our discretion.

If you have any questions about our guest post policy, please submit a Contact Us form or email us at [email protected].

Best Regards,
Web Traffic Exchange Team
